And then there's the way it's tanned... a traditional process that can take up to six months to complete, involving slow vegetable tanning, hot-stuffing with natural oils & waxes, hand dyeing & a whole lot of careful finishing. This labour-intensive approach produces a leather that's seriously smooth, glossy, highly resistant to creasing, and develops an amazing, reflective patina over time.
