What Does mm Mean On a Watch Band?

When you're shopping for watch straps, you'll often see measurements listed in millimetres (mm)—the "mm" refers to the width of the watch band where it attaches to the watch case. For instance, a 21mm watch strap is designed to fit watches with a 21mm lug width. 

Not sure what your watch’s lug width is? In the case of Apple Watches it’s usually printed on the watch–for other watches, simply measure between the two points where the strap attaches to find out the lug width.
