Our Omega Compatible Watch Straps
Each strap in our Omega watch strap replacement stands out for its high quality. They’re quick and easy to swap in and out with your existing watch strap, and they look the part with any Omega watch.
Since Omega watches can vary in size, it's important to measure your watch’s lug-to-lug width to guarantee the right fit. To check this, simply measure the distance between the inside of the lugs, which are the points on either side of your watch case where the strap attaches. Once you know your watch’s lug width, you can confidently select the right strap for a secure, comfortable fit.
Can You Change Omega Watch Straps?
Yes, you can change Omega straps! The process is the same as with most other watches:
Removing the Old Strap:
- Locate the lugs (the points on either side of where the watch strap attaches). The lugs are connected to the watch strap using a spring bar, which you need to release to remove your strap.
- For this step, you’ll need a spring bar tool. Insert the fork end of the tool between the strap and one of the lugs, and gently push the spring bar inward (toward the centre of the strap). This should release one side of the spring bar from the lug hole. You’ll then want to repeat this for the other side.
- Once it’s loose, pull the strap away from the watch case.
Inserting the New Strap:
- Place the spring bar into the end of your new strap.
- Position one side of the spring bar into the lug hole, and use the spring bar tool to compress the other side.
- Carefully slide it into place until you hear a small click, indicating the spring bar is secure in the lug hole.
If you're having any trouble, a jeweller or watch shop can easily take care of it for you. However, once you've done it a few times yourself, you'll find the process becomes much quicker and easier.
