Inspired by the Original French Navy Parachute Strap

The design is inspired by the historic Marine Nationale parachute watch straps, which were originally made using elastic parachute material and associated with French Navy combat swimmers.

The ingenious design allowed a standard military-issued watch to be worn securely and comfortably, with the elastic construction providing a flexible fit around the wrist.

Our modern version retains the distinctive characteristics of this classic French Navy watch strap, while using upgraded elastic nylon that feels softer and more flexible against the wrist.

Simply slide your hand through the strap, adjust the position using the metal hook and secure the strap around your wrist.

Bronze PVD Military Hardware

The bronze-coloured PVD hardware gives this strap a distinctive vintage military appearance.

Bronze colouring can be particularly difficult to reproduce convincingly, so we have developed the finish to get as close as possible to the appearance of natural bronze. The additional patina effect helps create a more authentic aged appearance rather than a bright or overly polished bronze finish.
