Garmin watch strap compatibility is determined by strap width and case size, with many models sharing the same fit. Watches within the same size group can usually share straps, provided the correct connector type is used.
26mm strap width is used on Garmin’s largest watches. This includes the Fenix 8 (51mm), Fenix 7X and 7X Pro, Fenix 6X GPS, 6X Pro and 6X Sapphire, Fenix 5X GPS, 5X Plus and 5X Sapphire, Fenix 3, 3 HR and 3 Sapphire, Epix Pro 51mm, Tactix 7, Tactix Delta, Tactix 8 AMOLED and Solar (51mm), Enduro, Enduro 2 and Enduro 3, Instinct 2X, Instinct 3 Solar and AMOLED (50mm), Descent MK1, MK2, MK2i, MK3 and MK3i (51mm), D2 Bravo, Quatix 3, and COROS Vertix and Vertix 2. If your Garmin model is an “X”, 50mm or 51mm case, it will almost always require a 26mm strap.
22mm strap width fits mid-sized Garmin watches. This includes the Fenix 8 (47mm), Fenix E (47mm), Fenix 7, 7 Pro, 7 Solar and 7 Sapphire Solar, Fenix 6 GPS, 6 Pro GPS and 6 Sapphire GPS, Fenix 5 and 5 Plus, Epix Gen 2 and Epix Pro Gen 2 (47mm), Tactix 8 (47mm), Quatix 5, Quatix 5 Sapphire and Quatix 7 Pro, MARQ series, Descent G1, G1 Solar and G1 Solar Tactical, Descent G2, Instinct, Instinct 2, Instinct E (45mm), Instinct 3 Solar and AMOLED (45mm), Approach S60 and S62, Forerunner 935, 945, 955 and 965, and COROS Vertix. This is one of the most common Garmin strap sizes.

20mm strap width is used on smaller and slimmer Garmin watches. This includes the Fenix 8 (43mm), Fenix 7S, 7S Pro, 7S Solar and 7S Sapphire Solar, Fenix 6S and 6S Pro, Fenix 5S and 5S Plus, Epix Pro 42mm, Descent MK3 and MK3i (43mm), Instinct 2S, Vivoactive 3, Vivomove, Vivomove 3, Vivomove HR and HR Sport, Venu and Venu Sq, Forerunner 245 and 245 Music, Forerunner 645, and Approach S40. Models with an “S” designation or a smaller case size typically use 20mm straps.
